Welcome to Cloudgate
On this page
Cloudgate brings workflow APIs, web apps, identity, and operational tools into one workspace. Build a backend on a visual canvas, connect it to an app, and follow each request through its execution history.
Start with the result you need#
| You want to… | Start here |
|---|---|
| Expose an API endpoint | Build your first API |
| Connect an existing service | Connect an external API |
| Create an application | Publish your first web app |
| Add login and user access | Set up identity |
| Run work on a timer | Build a scheduled worker |
| Investigate a failed request | Troubleshooting |
How the pieces fit together#
A controller groups related API routes. An action defines a route and HTTP method. Its workflow is the graph of nodes that handles the request: validate input, call another service, query data, make a decision, and return a response.

Services and databasesWeb apps consume those APIs. App users sign in through the Identity Provider. Logs, metrics, tests, and support tickets help you operate what you build.
Work in a draft, release deliberately#
Use sandbox routes while developing and review a release before sending production traffic to a new version. Sandbox selects workflow and resource configuration; it does not guarantee that every connected service or account is isolated. Choose test resources explicitly.
The Hub adapts to your permissions and enabled features. If a screen is missing, check your role and account configuration with your workspace administrator.
Continue with the API quickstart, or use the Hub map to find a tool.
